MELT Method (Myofascial Energetic Lengthening Technique)

60 minutes: $85
90 minutes: $115

Do you wake up after a good night's sleep stiff and sore?  How can this be?  Your body should be well rested not stiff and sore.  (Melt is an anachronym for Myofascial Energetic Lengthening Technique) was created by Sue Hitzmann, a noted New York City Body Worker and world Class Fitness instructor. At the peak of her career, she was in constant pain.   Despite visits to many health professionals, surgeons and doctors not  one had the answers.  She also consulted with her peers and many of them were also experiencing constant chronic pain.

Sue set out to find the answers.   She tirelessly studied current research and consulted with many cutting edge researchers.  MELT is the product of 20 years of research and development.

Sue found out that much of the chronic pain that we experience is caused Dehydrated Fascia!!

Let's back up for a moment -- What is Fascia?  When I went to school and initially studied anatomy,  Fascia was thought to be like packing material around our muscles, bones and organs.  In a gross anatomy lab, Fascia was the stuff to get out of the way to get access to the good stuff-- muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones and organs. We were wrong-  it is a very important connective tissue that has it's own intelligence and supports, protects and stabilizes us 24-7 . Think of a Teflon like connective tissue that surrounds every organ, bone, muscle, tendon and ligament and creates an almost frictionless  surface.

So back to the Big Problem:  How do you hydrate Fascia?  Even through drinking water is great, it does little to rehydrate the Fascia.  Stretching is great for the muscles, strengthens bones and help us keep fit, but stretching alone does little to rehydrate the Fascia.

By a series of precise, simple, pain free exercises you can rehydrate the Fascia and live pain-free.

MELT is especially helpful for Plantar Fasciaitis, chronic pain conditions , surgery rehabilitation and athletic performance enhancement.

MELT is available in a class format and also as a small group private session to teach you to be your own bodyworker.

MELT is for anyone wishing to experience life Pain Free!!

Reiki

60 in person minutes: $90
90 in person minutes: $120
30 (remote) minutes: $60

Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.

Reiki can be done in a private session or as a remote healing beyond the boundaries of time and space.

I regularly facilitate Reiki -1 and Reiki - 2 workshops so you can become your own healer.
